Rules and live patterns
Every pattern Swiss International owns, drawn by the same renderer as the picker with the style's default tokens and sample copy. Each has an anchor (#<pattern id>). A design's own DESIGN.md and tokens.json stay the source of truth; this page shows what the patterns look like.
Headline flush left across columns 1–8, bottom-aligned; meta column at 10–12 carries subhead and CTA. Column 9 stays empty.

Grid
heading 1-8 · meta 10-12
Notes
Headline at type scale step 6, bottom-aligned with the meta column. A 4px rule spans the full grid above both columns.
The headline block owns columns 1–8 and is bottom-aligned with the meta column at 10–12; column 9 is the gutter that makes the asymmetry visible. A 4 px rule spans 1–12 at the top of the hero. Headline at scale step 6, weight 700, tight tracking, max ~14 characters per line. The meta column opens with a hairline, then the subhead (body size), the primary CTA (accent fill, square, arrow) and a small muted meta line (location, date or availability). At phone width: eyebrow, headline, then the meta column.
A giant index numeral holds columns 1–3; the headline and a three-fact row hang from column 4. Everything aligns to the column-4 line.
Slots

Grid
index 1-3 · headline 4-12 · facts 4-12
Notes
Numeral at step 8 in the accent colour (the one accent on screen). Facts sit under a hairline in three equal sub-columns.
A giant numeral (step 8, accent colour) sits in columns 1–3 at the top of the hero, like a poster issue number. Everything else hangs from the column-4 line: h1 at step 5, a lead paragraph, a hairline, then exactly three facts in equal sub-columns (bold label + small muted text), then an underlined text CTA. The numeral is the hero's only accent.
The photo is grayscale with a caption; the headline column is narrow so the type breaks into short, stacked lines.
A narrow headline column (1–4, max ~12 characters per line, so the type stacks) beside a grayscale 3:2 photograph filling 5–12 with a small caption. Under the photo: the lead paragraph on 5–8 and the primary CTA plus a muted meta line on 10–12. The photo's left edge and the subhead share the column-5 line.
A short accent bar marks column 1; the headline runs the full 12 columns at step 7, then a three-part base line: subhead 1–5, CTA 7–9, meta 10–12.

bar 1-1 · headline 1-12 · subhead 1-5 · cta 7-9 · meta 10-12
Notes
The bar sits at the top of the hero, the headline block at the bottom (space between). The bar is the only accent element. The headline is allowed two lines at most; shorten copy rather than shrinking type.
A short accent bar marks the top of column 1; the headline block sits at the bottom of the hero. The headline runs the full grid at step 7, weight 700, two lines at most — shorten the copy rather than shrink the type. A hairline, then a three-part base line: subhead 1–5, a text-link CTA 7–9, muted meta 10–12. The bar is the only accent.
Wordmark in columns 1–3, page links start exactly at column 7; a hairline closes the bar. No buttons, no logo icon.

logo 1-3 · links 7-12
Wordmark (no symbol) in 1–3; page links start exactly on the column-7 line, plain, in body size, with the current page underlined. A 1 px hairline closes the bar. No buttons, no hamburger on desktop; at phone width the links scroll horizontally on one line.
Four zones on one baseline: wordmark 1–2, a one-line muted descriptor 4–6 (hidden at phone width), numbered links (01 Work, 02 About…) 7–10 and an underlined text CTA in 11–12.
Index numbers in columns 1–2, item text in 4–10, hairline between items. Numbers are large and set in the heading face, never in circles.

Each item: number (step 3), title (h3) and one short paragraph. Optional meta flush left in 11–12.
The SPEC's index list. Section label in 1–2 and h2 title in 4–10. Each item is one row: the number in 1–2 (step 3, weight 700, heading face), the title (h3) and one paragraph (max 60 ch) in 4–10, and an optional small muted meta in 11–12. Items are separated by hairlines. Never put the numbers in circles or badges.
Section label in 1–3; features flow in two columns across 4–12, each under a top hairline with a small number. Never three cards in a row.

Label and h2 (max ~14 ch) in 1–3; four to six features flow two per row across 4–12. Each feature opens with a top hairline, then a small muted number, an h4 title and a short paragraph. Two columns, never three; no icons.
One large statement set at step 4 from column 3 to 11; a label hangs in 1–2 and a supporting paragraph sits lower at 7–11.
