Pattern notes

  • Type-only cover. A top line with the kicker on 1–3 and the issue date on 10–12 (both small uppercase), a 4 px rule, then the headline in the display serif at step 6, weight 400, tight, spanning the full grid (three or four lines at 1440 px). A hairline, then the italic dek at lead size on 1–6 and a second, different standfirst line with an underlined CTA on 8–12 (never repeat the dek). At phone width the headline drops to step 5.

Northfold is a 14-person studio helping manufacturers, labs and B2B teams explain what they do — and look like they mean it.

Most rebrands fail because they start with a logo. Ours start with a sales call recording and a spreadsheet of lost deals.
