Pattern notes

  • The Sunday-magazine variant: a blackletter section flag centred across the top. A tall 4:5 grayscale portrait with caption on 1–6 over two rows. On 7–12: a cover line in italic body serif at step 6, weight 400 (max ~14 ch), bottom-aligned with a lead paragraph; then, under a top rule, a mono byline, the opening paragraph (max 60 ch, different text from the lead) and a spot-colour link with an arrow.
