Pattern notes

  • A two-page opening. Left page 2–6: a grayscale 3:4 plate with a 1 px border and an italic caption centred under it. Column 7: a 1 px vertical rule as the book's gutter (hidden on phones). Right page 8–11, vertically centred: small-caps eyebrow, the h1 at step 5 (≤16 ch), a fleuron, the italic subhead and an underlined CTA, all centred.
